With the flower meadow cut and carted,
....the colours of the trees changing, with freaky winds and temperatures the work of the Trust continues.
The odd Hogweed is still flowering , along with....
....Bristley Ox- tongue, Corn Marigold, Ox-eyed Daisy, and Cornflowers.
Temperatures in the lowering sun reaching 16 degrees, but the downside is 50 mph winds loosening some tree plates of a couple of Cherry Trees
We already know from our tree surveys that a a few trees will have to be felled over winter, but we hope to pull the plates back for them to continue growth. It is so easy these days to condemn a tree that has been growing for 20 to 30 years plus with a chainsaw that takes minutes to kill it!
The Northern Lights graced the Trusts skies....
....Fungi, like the Earth-stars are emerging
as well as our out- reach projects with various locations locally
....bird ringing data projects with Moorhens
It is never a boring season.....roll on Autumn!
